Hello

On this website you see a non-exhaustive selection of projects and programmes I have commissioned, curated and produced.

I have been working across arts and culture for 20 years. In that time I have worked across multiple art forms, created and produced festivals, set up venues, written strategies and been instrumental in the creation and delivery of a number of nationally significant cultural programmes.

I am interested in the way arts and culture can respond to and alter a sense of place, shifting perceptions for the people who live there whilst defining the ambition of an area for those outside.

I firmly believe that art and culture can change lives for the better and passionately advocate for the importance of their role within society.

I was Programme Director for UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK, Creative Director of London’s first ‘Borough of Culture’ Waltham Forest 2019, Executive Producer for Hull 2017, UK City of Culture and Signature Events Producer for Homecoming Scotland 2014.

In 2024 I am establishing a Citizens Assembly for Culture & Creativity in Cumberland as Co-Director of ‘Everyone Here’ (The Creative People & Places Project for West Cumbria) and Chief Creative Officer for new Immersive Tech venture AIX Live.

I am 1/4 of The Lake District’s Aerial Festival and trustee for both Grizedale Arts and Brewery Arts.
